THE ROLE
The Sales Operations Manager will support the EMEA and APAC sales teams with their daily tasks. This includes analysis and reporting, such as managing and determining the bicycle demand forecast for these markets. You’ll work closely with the EMEA and APAC sales teams as well as Category Management to provide accurate sales forecasts. Additionally, you’ll be a key point of contact for various departments regarding sales performance, inventory levels, and launch dates.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Operational management of the bicycle demand forecasting process
- Manage ongoing revision of bicycle forecasts in conjunction with local Market Managers / regional managers of our locale subsidiaries and teams in the Headquarter.
- Provide standard reports, and AdHoc reports as a baseline for accurate forecasting on a local and regional level.
- Enhance the Global Bicycle Demand Forecasting process in conjunction with other related departments.
- Optimize systems/software to drive continual process improvement of the bicycle forecasting accuracy in a measurable way.
- Support in sales-related projects in full range from strategic definition to the operational execution
- Monitor and report sales as a baseline for sales strategy adjustments to improve Canyon’s profitability and sales success.
- Support in managing sales campaigns for EMEA and APAC regions and streamline with our NA entity to create synergies
- Report on stock and availability and act as point of contact in related questions from different departments
- Support in frequent exchange within the S&OE process to maximize performance by task execution
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- Completed bachelor business degree
- Two years’ professional experience in Sales Operations in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer business desired
- Strong analytical abilities while also being able to develop and present creative solutions in an organized manner
- Good knowledge of forecasting processes and reporting. Experience with o9 Solutions is a plus.
- Project coordination/management skills are desired, as well as the ability to work proactively
- Experience of work in a global environment, especially EMEA and APAC
- Fluent English. Fluent German is desired but not mandatory. Further languages are a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience with SAP preferred
- Experience in the sporting goods and/or bicycle industry desired but not mandatory
