THE ROLE
Canyon is a digital-first, direct-to-consumer brand – and data is at the heart of how we grow, optimise, and innovate. As a Digital Data Analyst, you'll combine business acumen with deep technical expertise to generate robust analytics, scalable reporting, and actionable insight. You’ll work across Digital, Marketing, Sales, and BI to build analytical products, engineer efficient data pipelines, and enable decision-making at speed and scale.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Partner with business stakeholders to scope analytical use cases and deliver structured, data-driven solutions
- Analyse KPIs spanning e-commerce performance, customer journeys, traffic acquisition, conversion, and product engagement
- Build robust dashboards and scalable reporting tools using data from GA4, CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms
- Convey data-driven insights and business recommendations through clear and actionable presentations, up to C-level audience
- Develop and maintain performant cloud-based data pipelines to enable reliable access to clean, transformed datasets
- Integrate external and internal APIs to enrich existing data sources and improve attribution, segmentation, and targeting
- Perform advanced data wrangling, SQL scripting, and transformation tasks across large, complex datasets
- Apply statistical techniques and modelling to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support optimisation initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation rules, QA processes, and source-to-report consistency checks
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Scientists to evolve our tooling and infrastructure
- Evolve into advanced analytics / data science topics (e.g., predictive modelling, experimentation, ML enablement)
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field; please attach diploma
- ~3–5 years of experience in analytics-heavy roles (e.g. Consultant, Data Analyst, …) with direct technical ownership; please attach references if available
- Expert-level SQL and comfort working with cloud platforms (e.g. BigQuery, GCP)
- Proficiency in Python or R for scripting, modelling, or data transformation
- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and web analytics (GA4, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data structures, ETL concepts, and data integration workflows
- Sharp analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and a bias for clean, repeatable solutions
