THE ROLE
The Canyon Digital Design team is on the hunt for a talented, visually-driven (Digital) Designer to help us bring our world-class bike launches, global campaigns and brand activations to life.
In this role, you will be the creative engine behind how our brand speaks to millions of cyclists worldwide across our e-commerce and email platforms. You aren't just placing images on a page; you are crafting the digital visual narrative that makes people fall in love with cycling.
This is a highly creative, fast-paced marketing and campaign design role. You will focus on art direction, visual storytelling, and rich media assets and work closely with our brand and marketing teams, photo studio and e-commerce merchandisers. You will also work closely with our Product Design (UX/UI) team, utilizing their established design systems and components so you can focus entirely on high-impact visual execution without getting bogged down in wireframes and component architecture.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Lead Visual Storytelling: Translate big creative concepts into stunning digital experiences for product launches and global sales campaigns.
- Multi-Platform Execution: Create rich digital assets spanning static graphics, motion design, video snippets, and email layouts.
- Campaign Experience Design: Build engaging landing page layouts and digital journeys using and building out our modular e-commerce design system.
- Collaborate with Creatives: Work side-by-side with our world-class photo studio, copywriters, and marketing teams to brief and deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Optimize for Impact: Use performance data and team feedback to iterate on assets, ensuring our campaigns look incredible and convert effectively.
- Drive Art Direction: Own the digital creative concept for major bike launches and campaign moments — from initial visual direction through to final delivery. Brief and direct the photo studio, set the tone and aesthetic for each campaign, and make the calls that define how Canyon looks to the world.

You have a passion for cycling and understand what motivates bike tribes and can apply that knowledge to help deliver compelling visual design. If you don’t ride yet, a genuine curiosity to learn the culture is a must!
- An outstanding relevant portfolio with recent work showcasing digital campaign work, e-commerce layouts, or digital marketing activations.
- A strong understanding of digital design best practices, layout, and typography within a commercial or e-commerce setting.
- Comfort working with Design Systems. You know how to use established UI components as a canvas for great creativity.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team, including photographers, copywriters and marketing teams.
- Proficiency in modern design tools, including Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
- An understanding of how web design translates to development.
- Photo and video editing experience.
- Comfort with integrating AI tools (Figma Weave and/or Claude Design) in your workflow.
- 5+ years professional experience. E-commerce experience would be fantastic.
