THE ROLE
We’re looking for a data-driven thinker with ~5-8 years of experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, and Analytics - someone passionate about using data to drive growth, performance, and customer-centric decisions in digital environments.
As part of our Digital Strategy & Analytics team, you’ll refine attribution models, optimise marketing spend, personalise digital journeys, and apply advanced modelling techniques to unlock impact across Performance Marketing, E-Commerce, and Digital. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital and Commercial teams to embed data-led thinking into everything we do — shaping a smarter, faster, and more connected business.
YOUR ROLE AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
Marketing & Media Insights
- Evolve attribution models (e.g. MMM, Shapley, uplift modelling) to guide media & channel investments.
- Generate actionable insights to enhance both tactical execution and strategic media planning.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to sharpen targeting, budget allocation & creative strategies.
- Drive A/B and multivariate testing programmes to refine digital journeys & campaign effectiveness.
Commercial & Trading Analytics
- Model traffic trends, price elasticity, and promotional performance to steer e-commerce decisions.
- Support pricing & trading with real-time analytics and customer demand signals.
- Link media performance and trading outcomes to identify conversion levers and revenue drivers.
E-Commerce Analytics & Growth
- Deliver insights that unlock higher conversion, retention, and CLV across e-commerce touchpoints.
- Power CRM and personalisation initiatives with segmentation and behavioural modelling.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and data-backed iteration across the digital business.

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- ~5-8 years of experience in Data Science, AI Engineering or Digital Analytics, ideally within E-Commerce, Marketing, or Retail environments.
- Proven track record delivering value in Digital, Performance Marketing, or D2C Commerce contexts.
- Expertise in machine learning, A/B testing, and predictive modelling.
- Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow.
- Ability to translate complex data into business-relevant insight & strategic recommendations.
