THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Paid Media, SEO & CRM Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts in the Chinese market, focusing on platforms such as Douyin, Xiaohongshu (Red), Baidu, and WeChat. This role will initially involve managing external agencies responsible for operations and will transition into being part of an in-house team as we build internal competencies.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Agency Management: Oversee and coordinate with external agencies to ensure effective execution of paid media campaigns, SEO strategies, and CRM initiatives tailored for the Chinese market.
- In-Housing Strategy: Lead the transition of digital marketing capabilities from agency-based to in-house, including training and development of internal teams.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels, focusing on user acquisition and engagement.
- E-commerce Integration: Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimize customer journeys, ensuring seamless integration of marketing efforts with online sales platforms.
- Data Management: Understand and manage data flows between customer interactions and CRM systems, including segmentation strategies to enhance targeted marketing efforts.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- Proven experience in digital marketing within the Chinese market, with a strong understanding of local platforms such as Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Baidu, and WeChat.
- E-commerce experience is crucial; familiarity with online sales strategies and customer engagement techniques is required.
- Technical proficiency in data management practices related to CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin are preferred.
