THE ROLE
As a Junior PMO (M/F/D), you will support project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and transparency. Working in a dynamic IT environment, you will help structure processes, track progress, and facilitate collaboration across teams. Additionally, you will take on assistant-level responsibilities, such as managing calendars, coordinating appointments, organizing workshops, and helping to oversee the IT project portfolio. Your contributions will help maintain alignment and streamline project execution.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and documentation using PM tools
- Coordinating calendars, appointments, and meetings for project leads
- Organizing and following up on project workshops and team events
- Tracking open tasks, project dependencies, and risks
- Supporting administrative tasks, budget tracking, and resource management
- Maintaining and updating the IT project portfolio overview
- Helping implement project management standards and methodologies
- Preparing reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
- Facilitating collaboration across teams in Agile and Waterfall Environments
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- First experience in project coordination, assistant roles, or PMO support (internship or entry-level experience in an IT environment is a plus)
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong skills in Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Agile mindset: proactive, self-motivated, and open to collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall is an advantage
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence or similar project tracking tools is a plus
