Job Description

THE ROLE

We are expanding our team and are looking for SAP Inhouse Consultants for various modules! As our SAP Inhouse Consultant, you will support our internal customers in generating new technical requirements as part of the development process, from concept creation to implementation in the module. You will close the gap between the business units and IT and take over the technical end-to-end support of projects.

Your focus will be on one (or more) of the following modules:

  • SD
  • PP
  • FI/CO
  • MM

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

  • Identification and analysis of process requirements and the associated IT solutions in the respective SAP module
  • Close cooperation with business units in requirements and process analysis as well as technical implementation of change requests and realization of customizing
  • Analytical and methodical requirements analysis and checking technical feasibility
  • Support and continuous development of your SAP focus module and the interfaces to connected modules and systems
  • Close cooperation with your business units and external service providers
  • Carrying out and documenting process tests
  • Provide internal training and act as first point of contact for users and key users
  • Supporting release management including transport and change management

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

  • Degree in (business) informatics, (business) engineering, business administration or comparable qualification
  • Alternatively, you have completed comparable professional training
  • Several years of professional experience as a consultant, in-house consultant or process/project manager in one of the modules mentioned (SP, PP, FI/CO, MM)
  • Solid knowledge (including customizing) in the application of an SAP module and process analysis
  • Very good project management skills
  • Affinity for new technologies and a strong service mentality
  • High process affinity and analytical skills
  • Very good communication skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good German and English skills
