THE ROLE
As an SAP Key User in Purchasing (m/f/d), you will take ownership of optimizing, testing, and documenting our SAP procurement processes to maximize team efficiency. Beyond gathering feedback from purchasing specialists and sourcing managers to drive process improvements, you will play a key role as the central point of contact during the upcoming S/4HANA implementation and subsystem integrations. Leveraging your deep SAP MM expertise, you will bridge the gap between purchasing and IT, conducting training sessions and creating robust documentation to enable the Canyon Crew.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- Team Integration: As an SAP Key User, you will be part of the Purchasing (PUR) team.
- SAP PUR Expertise: You are deeply familiar with all PUR processes in SAP and will continue to develop advanced expertise in this area.
- Process Optimization: You continuously review CANYON's SAP procurement processes, analyze them for optimization opportunities, and implement improvements to increase team efficiency.
- Requirements & Feedback Management: In particular, you gather feedback and requests from PUR Specialists and Sourcing Managers, drive their implementation, and provide regular feedback.
- Process Design & Testing: You collaborate on designing and testing new processes or changes, and release them in coordination with team leadership.
- Request Prioritization: You prioritize requests based on urgency and potential impact.
- Interface & System Integration: You serve as the central point of contact for the PUR department during the implementation of new add-ons or subsystems.
- S/4HANA Transformation: You represent the team during the S/4HANA implementation.
- Training & Onboarding: You prepare and conduct training sessions for the team and new team members.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management: You create project-related process descriptions and documentation, with a strong focus on SAP processes.
- Nice to have: Knowledge in Confluence, Microsoft Vision and Jira
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- Degree in business administration, a commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification. You are already well-versed in SAP procurement processes (MM) and have several years of experience in purchasing — ideally at CANYON or a similar D2C company.
- Hands-on experience with the subsystems MES or an ERP system.
- You have been actively involved in the implementation of SAP add-ons in the past.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- You are characterized by a high level of responsibility, a strong service orientation, and a structured way of working.
