Stellenbeschreibung

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for incoming parts, ensuring full compliance with both industry and Canyon standards.

  • Define inspection plans, evaluate supplier production approvals (PPAP/RFMP), and drive smooth product ramp-up.

  • Take ownership of quality topics for specific suppliers and serve as their main point of contact.

  • When issues arise, you’ll coordinate fast and effective containment actions, raise complaints, and guide the 8D problem-solving process.

  • Travel to supplier sites as needed to conduct product and process audits, verify corrective actions, and support improvement efforts.

  • Track and document the cost of supplier-related quality issues, ensuring cost recovery where appropriate.

  • Establish KPIs, lead supplier evaluations, and support the development of long-term quality improvement plans.

  • Represent Canyon confidently in the supply chain and provide guidance or training to our partners where needed.

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

  • A technical degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience in quality management—ideally with methods like APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, 8D, Six Sigma, or lean tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to facilitate root cause workshops.

  • A detail-oriented mindset and a high standard for accuracy and precision.

  • Confidence in using SAP (or other ERP/QA systems) and the full Microsoft Office suite.

  • Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin and first contact and knowledge regarding the asian culture would be a strong advantage and a willingness to travel as needed.
  • Most importantly: genuine passion for cycling and our products.
