Job Description

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

  • You are responsible for the maintenance and further development of company-wide SAP (ECC 6.0) 
  • You look after our SAP Basis landscape including SAP Solution Manager 
  • You prepare a successful S/4 HANA system migration 
  • You are responsible for the planning and implementation of SAP release changes, installations of SAP systems and system or client copies 
  • You will be responsible for system, database and interface monitoring and performance analysis and optimization 
  • Your focus will be on Sybase and HANA databases and PI/PO components 
  • You import support packages and monitor the correction and transport system 
  • You advise the specialist departments on in-house projects with regard to SAP Basis/interface-related topics

HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or training as an IT specialist in system integration 
  • Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification 
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience 
  • You have sound knowledge in the administration of SAP Basis systems 
  • You have experience in the technical monitoring of SAP Basis systems 
  • You have extensive operating (Windows) and database knowledge (Sybase ASE and HANA) 
  • Ideally you have knowledge in the area of virtualization & VM-Ware 
  • You are characterized by a structured way of working and the ability to find sustainable solutions 
  • You are a team player with good communication skills 
  • Very good English skills round off your profile
