THE ROLE
This role is based in our Canyon Tech Hub Barcelona, bringing together top tech talent to shape the future of cycling.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- You own the full "Idea-to-Delivery" value stream, bridging the gap between strategic business requirements and the technical execution rhythm across the organization.
- You lead the Business portfolio prioritization process, collaborating closely with business leaders to align project pipelines with company goals, budget constraints, and resource availability.
- You define and manage the global release calendar, synchronizing deployment cycles across our core pillars: SAP (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), E-commerce (Web), and Mobile Applications.
- You act as the guardian of budgets together with the PMs, tracking spend against project milestones and ensuring that high-priority initiatives are adequately funded and staffed.
- You harmonize the different development speeds, balancing fast-paced Mobile/E-com cycles with structured SAP releases, into a unified heartbeat that minimizes business disruption.
- You lead "Go/No-Go" sessions, ensuring that all quality gates, including testing, documentation, and training, are met before any release.
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- You have a degree in Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong technical affinity.
- You bring 5+ years of professional experience in a dual role covering both Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Release Management in a multi-system landscape.
- You possess a solid understanding of the release complexities specific to SAP, CRM / E-Commerce (Salesforce), and App Store/Play Store deployment processes.
- You have proven experience in IT budget planning and resource forecasting, with the ability to translate technical debt into business risk for stakeholders.
- You demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Atlassian Jira (including Jira Align or Advanced Roadmaps) for portfolio tracking and release management.
- You are a versatile leader capable of navigating both high-speed Agile environments and the rigorous Governance required for enterprise ERP stability.
- You are a master of stakeholder management, capable of balancing business demands with technical capacity through data-driven decision-making.
- You have excellent English skills; German is a plus.
