YOUR JOB AS PART OF CANYON CREW

- Develop comprehensive strategic plans for our athletes in collaboration with various internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development. 

- Create innovative concepts and coordinate various events involving our athletes to strengthen relationships and engage our community   

- Collaborate with the Pro Sport Performance Team to enhance equitable athlete contracts that maximize partnership opportunities and align with Canyon’s brand values. 

- Partner with our Social Media team and brand managers to identify and create engaging content opportunities for our athletes and teams across multiple platforms. 

- Network to build strong and collaborative relationships with athlete partners, sponsors, and external stakeholders to enhance Canyon's visibility and impact in the sports community. 

- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform the development of marketing initiatives tailored to the cycling industry. 

- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of athlete partnerships and marketing campaigns, providing regular reports to stakeholders. 

- Attend and participate in key industry events, trade shows, and sports competitions to represent Canyon and cultivate connections within the cycling community.

HOW TO BECOME PART OF THE RACE

- You have a minimum of three to five years’ experience in a Sports Marketing or Brand role – ideally within Professional Cycling or a related sport. 

- Previous experience in the sports industry or a genuine passion for cycling is a significant advantage; experience working directly with athletes is a plus. 

- You bring excellent communication skills, with a focus on critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure and multitasking situations. 

- You possess a proactive attitude towards change and can adapt the Sports Marketing strategy as needed to align with evolving business objectives. 

- You have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. 

  - You are open to frequent travel, understanding its importance in building relationships and gaining insights into the sports market. 

- Your excellent written and spoken English language skills will be essential for effective communication during meetings, presentations, and partnerships. 

- You have a passion for sports with an innate ability to cultivate community and culture, fostering connections between athletes, fans, and the brand. 

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, with experience in leveraging social media platforms effectively to engage audiences and promote athlete partnerships.
