THE ROLE
Canyon DXD is a global UX, UI and content design team delivering new products and services for our customers. We are on the hunt for an ambitious young designer to help us deliver our bike launches, campaigns and activations. Working as part of a growing, friendly team, you’ll be responsible for helping people across the globe find the perfect bike and fall in love with cycling. The role is remote and can be based in Germany or in the Netherlands.
*The requirement for a job as working student/internship at Canyon is the enrollment at a university/college. Voluntary internships are possible up to a maximum period of 3 months.
YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW
- As working student in the Digital Design team you will support us with designing, testing and optimizing digital assets for our e-commerce and email platforms.
- You will work closely with our Digital Designers, project managers, world-class photo studio and e-commerce store managers to help deliver impactful launches and sales campaigns.
- Your work will also include the support in day-to-day design tasks such as image cropping, asset preparation, and handover.
- You will test assets and optimize based on their performance.
- The Adhere to consistent file naming and uploading to DAM is also an important part of your job.
- Furthermore you will support bike launches with other ad hoc tasks.
HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE RACE
- You’re currently enrolled in a degree program in the field of graphic design, digital design, or a similar field.
- You’re able to independently manage yourself and have excellent communication skills.
- You’re able to prioritize your workload and can juggle multiple tasks/projects at once.
- You have experience using design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc., and also editing photos and videos.
- You have strong visual design skills and an eye for detail.
- You’re comfortable in English (both speaking and writing).
- You are a reliable and flexible team player and eager to learn in an open and friendly working culture.
- Interest in the bicycle industry completes your profile.
